2009 Fire Truck Light Parade
See the District’s finest Fire Trucks, Engines, Ambulances and Rescue Vehicles decorated with colorful lights and accompanied by Fire Pup and Smokey Bear! We will be collecting new toys for ‘Toys for Tots’ and canned or packaged food for ‘Food for Lane County’. Feel free to hand these donations to firefighters anywhere along the parade route. Every year we collect more and more. We thank you for your generosity!
The Parade starts at 4:50 p.m. Saturday, December 12th 2009 The parade will come through the neighborhood at the estimated times along the parade route. We will be moving slowly, so that everyone gets a good chance to meet and greet our Firefighters, Smokey Bear and Fire Pup. There will be NO loud sirens or horns, however there will be music. If you don’t live directly on the route, drive to a parking spot along the route to see us! We are excited to bring this event to you and your family during the Holidays and appreciate our community’s support! ~ Happy Holidays ~ We hope to see you there!
